FIRE is a research network group based at the leading institution, UCL-Institute of Archaeology, seeking to gather, collaborate, encourage and celebrate island research and experience from a culturally diverse point of view. 

 

The 'island' forms the theme for this Forum in its broadest sense, stretching beyond the boundaries of the marine island paradigm and allowing for differing and encouraging

inter-disciplinary approaches conceptualisations.
